Meet Mike
If you caught the video above this is Joe’s oldest friend, Mike, from his seminary days. Mike has been with LTM since its inception and makes each chain set by hand.
In a culture filled with distraction, most people find it difficult to settle in to a repetitive contemplative practice. Perhaps that is why all faith beliefs have some form of prayer beads.
The practice of praying beads includes thinking, speaking aloud (or to yourself), and doing with your hands. This is astonishingly helpful because so many of the 5 senses are/or can be used.
